[Joe Dees] We found a political issue upon which we disagree.

[Hermit] Not at all. You made an assertion wherein you claimed that you had proved that a source I referenced was "unauthoritative," indicating an article which your icon du joure disagreed about and implying that it was always "unauthoritative" and thus my opinions should be discarded.

[Hermit] I showed that they had good grounds for printing the particular article, that substantial evidence existed to suggest that there was indeed reason not to discount what they reported, and certainly not to supress it. Which invalidated your assertion and consequently your implications. Having noticed recently that you have taken to accusing others of all your most egregrious faults, we do not have to seek far for an erroneous accusation against me of not acknowledging error.

[Joe Dees] And it seems that to you and Mermaid, all (and only)sources are biased which do not share yours.

[Hermit] Please point out where I have said that information is not worth evaluating because of the source?

[Hermit] On the other hand, you have done exactly this on numerous occassions recently. Including sources you were simultaneously advocating as authoritive.

How are the mighty fallen.

PS It's H-E-R-M-I-T, not M-E-R-M-A-I-D. If you have issues with her, take them up with her, not with me. She is quite capable of replying for herself - and I'm sure she will.
