I think the question is sort of misleading -- I certainly think that there
is more than one (concept of) god.
But certainly the Christian god is (as you put so nicely) a "pedophile's
tool, they push him in and rape the minds of their children."
On the other hand, the pantheistic god can be quite useful, even
illuminating; and I have a certain respect for the god of Deism (mostly
because of the historical figures who believed in said god). Also of note
is Eris, goddess of Chaos and Discord, if only because she is very
different (I intend to research the similarities between her and Kali, "the
destroyer", from the Hindus)
So god, then, is a symbol which I use to designate something out of the
ordinary.
