I don't mean to speak for Bill here, but I sincerely think he was using
former Yugoslavia as an example where it is impossible to judge who is
acting "truthfully" because the entire situation is so very convoluted.

There is a situation where abolute truth is completely informed by
cultural history and ethnic heritage- and is therefore not universally
true.

Please don't take this personally, I do not mean to ridicule you, but I
find it interesting that you are always looking for the "rules" in any
given situation. The whole idea behind memes gives us an opportunity to
step outside of the rules and examine the memes. Just like looking in a
mirror allows you to see your nose without having to cross your eyes.

Memes are merely an analytical tool, not an operator's manual for the
new way you're supposed to live. Relax.

"My truth is as good as yours because there is no absolute truth" seems
like a good way of going about living a life, but one needs to be
responsible and generous as well. We shouldn't kill people who hold on
to different truths as they have been doing in Yugoslavia.
