Faux News

If I haven't made it extremely clear enough around here already, let me do so at this time:
I consider Fox News (aka. Faux News, Fixed News, etc.) to be NOTHING more than a fascist pie-hole for the war-criminal, neanderthal neocons and dittoheads on the right.
Trouble is, way too many of my feller-'mericans have it in their "tay-vays" remote control in the "Favorite Channel" list right next too the"Jimmy Swaggart"'s, Rod Parsley's and James Robison's TV evangelical circus.
from one of the many doomologists:
"Astronomical threats on the other hand seem to be receding (with the possible exceptions of dark comets, Eta Carina having a spherical hypernova or WR 104 sending a gamma ray burst at us)."
Isn't that just special?

I get free peeks into the cable-verse between my friends and booty-calls, and I've had the pleasure of an occassional immersion into the faux-universe. Heh, I dunno that pleasure is the right word, but I must admit the draw of succumbing to authority in any social animal's mind, and Faux certain has that repertoire down great. Almost makes me wanna buy jackboots, and practice my goose steps.
Thankfully each of the other cable works has a certain antidote (Keith Olberman on the left, and Lou Dobs the uber-populist (seig heil ), all it takes is an easy remote click. Oh, yeah, and then there is Barack Obama, who has emanated into near omnipresence before our eyes. Even Faux Noise memes have troubles not submitting to that shit at times. Anyways, we know that they will turn on him in the end as media always does, so expect some ugly shit before its all over. I've already heard multiple source references to Nazis and Hitler. (Ben Stein & the "Honorable" James David Manning for two frequent offenders of Godwin's Law in re: Obama.) So the hate mongers already have some good lubrication, to wedge some pseudo-credibility into their otherwise venomous memes.
