Political leanings

I'd like to see where everyone leans politically. I really want to see how diverse we are when it comes to social issues.
I consider myself to be somewhere in the realm of libertarian though I'm not sold on privatizing everything yet. I'm socially liberal in which I think people should be able to do whatever they want as long as it doesn't infringe on anyone else’s rights. I'm also a leaning anti-war activist (thank-you Hermit), which is a bit of an enigma apparently. Then again the other political forums I go to are filled with complete nut cases of the fascist type.
Anyway, let me know how you guys lean.

I am what I consider a Libertarian Democrat. I like the various flavors of standard objectivism, but Grover Norquist Neo-Con theology is a perverse and corrupt mutation thereof. To me anyone arguing Libertarian ideology must address democratic processes and cannot simply assume that "starving the beast" aka unilaterally destroying democratic government is per se good. To me government should ideally be small, yet competant. Government's responsibility is to act legally as a monopoly on violence in order to minimize it, and further to act via that role as a facilitator of accountability in relation to the democratic process and to facilitate an environment conducive to good business practices and wise consumer decisions. IMO Bill Clinton played as ideal role as we have had in the US so far.
