My wife, the lovely Se7en, is due to spawn in about 6 months time. Whether it is a boy or girl we'll likely choose Tracy's surname (Lewis) as a middle name. We welcome suggestions for a first name.

Congratulations!

A radial L^3 monogram might be cool (imagine the 3 arms of a swastika).
in regex-speak L.* Lewis Lucifer
So now all we need is an incredibly kewl, meaningful and significant bisexual name beginning with L to make it happen :-)

I do have a few rules...
Easy to spell, easy to pronounce and not in the top 25 for baby names.

Hey guys, congratulations! You're in for one of the coolest rides out there. When my son was born ten years ago it was simply the most amazing event in my life. My wife and I did not know what gender he would be, but at first we leaned towards Nero as a name in the last few months leading up to his birth.
My wife ran that by a few of the 'norms' at her place of employment and got some strong negative reactions. So we shit canned that name. At the time I was reading a lot of Norse mythology, and I was secretly thinking, "Loki would be a cool name." But I thought it would be to out there. One day the wife walks up to me and says, "How about Loki as a name? It'd work for a boy or a girl." She had met a women from Sweden named Loki and thought it was a cool name.
I, of course, went off on some thread about how Loki was the coolest of all the Norse gods, he being was a cross dresser, transgender, a trickster, the force of technology in that mythos and so on. And, bam! We had a name.
Who knows? Maybe you guys look look into old Scottish names, or mythology. There might be something there.
Oh, and btw, Lucifer... I won the 'bet." DOOOOOOM!!!111!!

[Blunderov] Splendid news !
I'm thinking Lola.*

"Lola" The Kinks
Best regards and belated birthday balloons.
(BTW Hypatia's view on the essence of birthdays is perfectly sound IMV)
*"Luca" is my 2nd Choice.

Two Hypatia Lucifers differentiated only in the third names and surnames :-) That could be kickass awesome.

[Mermaid] does cov have any rules about virian births?
[Hermit] The CoV isn't big on rules. Nevertheless, there is undoubtedly at least one inviolable rule that applies to Se7en's situation. The initial lease period to which she consented is for 266 days; no extensions can or will be tolerated, therefore, if the tenant has not departed by the scheduled date then, after some reasonable grace period, an eviction is in order :-)
[Hermit] There are a few suggestions and thoughts which I'll try to share at some later date.

Mo throws a pile of dirty diapers on the first host and relates to the congregation tales of Lucifer's mispent youth. And now you've joined the breeders! Its all over dude. The church is finished. That little crumb-crunching squid is gonna suck all the slack right out of you. :'( Congratulations!
It seems that fatherhood hasn't stopped Hermit, but he's still not in it like he was in his single heydays. I guess the rest of us will have to compensate for all you breeders out there . . . as usual
