This is very sad.
My daughter lost a friend and member of her high school class at the same
place a few years ago. His death was also due to hazing, drinking a bottle
of alcohol. Water isn't a less harmful substitute in excessive amounts.
Hazing actually has a psychological function, activating the
capture-bonding mechanisms that evolved for good reasons during the time
our ancestors lived in hunter gatherer tribes.
