Congratulations Boston Red Sox!!!!!
I'm SURE I don't need to explain to CoV members that there is no such
thing as a curse, but let me explain to anyone else listening:
The "Curse of the Bambino", or so it was labeled when the Red Sox let
Babe Ruth go to the Yankees 86 years ago stated:
"The Boston Red Sox will NEVER again win the World Series!!!!"
The fact that they DID win tonight does NOT mean the curse was lifted,
it means the curse NEVER, EVER EXISTED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woohoo! Boston was, and still is, abuzz with excitement after
the Red Sox sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals. That and the
greatest comeback in playoff history against our despised rivals,
the New York Yankees, has energized the city and all of Red Sox
Nation. Here's to a great season and a great team!
Let's go Red Sox!!!!!
