It is always an emotional upper to correspond with your fine, sincere and rapier-witted self. You are indeed one of the reasons I stick around - that is, besides the science and theory info. and the soothing and beneficial love flowing from the other CoV members. Be assured that as long as your sparkling self remains here, so will I.

And yes, I can omit politics, if others can, and am quite willing to do so if others are, but as long as the Bush-Bashers, Islamofascistphiles and America-haters reserve the right of assertion, I reserve the right of reply. Although, I hasten to add, the analysis of the Islamofascist memeplex and the search for methods by means of which its more bloodthirsty aspects can be defanged is indeed a theoretical pursuit, although with, one would hope, practical applications. Nevertheless, I can pursue that analysis elsewhere, and am indeed doing so.

Sorry Mermaid, but if others continue, I will, too - if only to register that the post does not belong on the email list, move it to Serious Business on the BBs, and slice, dice and shred it there.
And I care not one whit about receiving credibility points from closed minds, because the only way to earn them is to close one's own mind in the same fashion, and this is something that I am not prepared to do. [Hint: it has something to do with personal honesty and integrity.]
