Google has introduced a new calculator facility for their search engine. Quite magnificent and really, really useful as it is not "just a calculator" but a calculator able to perform a huge number of look-ups and conversions. The above number happens to be the largest number for which the calculator yields a factorial, i.e.
170.62437695630272579 ! = 1.79769313 × 10308 170.62437695630272579999999 ! = 1.79769313 × 10308
