Alright, it seems the CoV-Monthly is coming together very well right now, I've received most of what I need to complete the first issue.  I wanted to know what medium you all think I should use for the CoV-M.  At first I was thinking about using PDF, but a lot of people wouldn't be able to view it in PDF format.  Should I use HTML?

Also are there any last minute opinions and suggestions about the CoV-M?

Lastly, for those of you that want your ads added into the CoV-M send them my way.  I have yet to receive one.  I know some of you own buisnesses or have websites that you'd like to see generate some more traffic.

Despite the fact that there are PDF readers available for most current systems, it definitely remains a proprietary and "non-standard" format. This makes it difficult to cite from or link to, and potentially restricts the portability of documents generated with it as systems evolve (think about how you might read a "Multimate" document today - and that was the "standard" wordprocessor used by the insurance industry throughout the 1980s).

For the above reasons, I'd strongly recommend using HTML with CSS (in order to separate content from format) - despite this offering more limited formatting capabilities. If you feel that the more attractive mark-up possibilities offered by PDF are important (and they may be), then please consider making the source material available in ASCII format as well.

Yeah using HTML and CSS would probably be the best way to go for many reasons.  Although, I'll have to go back through and do some more learning about CSS, my CSS knowledge is pretty limited.
