[Mermaid]I have always suspected that men are less capable than women when it comes to 'details'. Obviously none of you actually got the context of Michelle's post.
Here is a reminder.
[Michelle]I am perhaps basing my irritation more on the level of the responses you've been getting, Sebby, than on your original query, so I apologize if that's the case. Your original query was quite meaningful, with the exception of the attachment of the photo for all to objectify and debase with Am-I-Hot critique. Is this just a "man thing"
[Mermaid]Lets see.
[DrSebby]...well, the doctor chick ive been dating with very little intimacy for 5 1/2 months might be out the door. i unexpectedly came to know this new gal who seems to be minus all the emotional issues that the doctor girl had... im currently tied to both of them! i hate to give up on the doctor chick but she's such a dead end it sometimes seems. anyways, here's the new one - we're already around the bases and far more emotionally bonded than 5+ months with the doctor chick ever acheived. what should i do? photo of new girl enclosed...give opinions please.
The Responses.
[Walter Watts1]bye, bye doctor chick..........
[Mermaid comments]This is an opinion. Quite useful. Not big on explanation, but its an opinion nevertheless.
[Jake1] . . . took the words right out of my mouth . . . You go!, Sebby!
[Mermaid comments]ditto as with WW1 comment.
[Jake2] I might add that you should try to kiss off as nicely as possible with the doctor chick, 'cause she probably has some friends who may need some "Sebby attention" at some future date ;-), but you were probably already considering that.
[Mermaid comments]This is what some may consider 'naughty' and 'funny'. Whatever.
[rhino1]Open for reviews? What the... Ah, you meant the picture.
[Mermaid comments]Here the rhino scratches his horn with a gnarly finger. He is(quite obviously)confused.
[Jonathan Davis1]More views damnit Sebby! That beauty's modelling card is no good, we want the bedroom shots!
P.S. I though the doctor was very cute....that smile..think about that smile
[Mermaid comments]The piercing call to the male herd. The male mind stirs and wakes up. It is completely confused, but knows that something interesting may be around the corner. It drools a bit.
[Jake3] I think the best smiles are the ones that come after several orgasms and a romp in the hay. So if that has anything to do with it, I think Sebby will like the smile of this new girl better.
[Mermaid comments]The call is answered! There is a little pool forming. We have touched base with the testes! Everyone is connected and can now communicate on the same level.
[BillRoh1]Listen to Jonathan man! How are we supposed to be fair judges if there are no action shots?
[Mermaid comments]There is no stopping it now! Contact is made with all heads over mountains, plains and deserts..from different time zones and across blue and green oceans!! It has happened once again...the glory of the collective male mind can never be tarnished. It is UNSTOPPABLE!!
[Mermaid]Oops! And then it happened! Michelle spoke! It seems that is stoppable, after all. It has come to a screeching standstill and the various justifications, bitching and whining has begun. Yea! Women!
[Mermaid]Anyways..boys, dont hold back...carry on. It IS a male thing, but there is precious little that can be done to rectify said condition. Gender differences do not begin and end with genitilia. But thats another book. Lets have more play in the sandbox. Calm the fuck down.

[Jonathan Davis2] This was a mixture of gentle humour and some oblique praise for Sebby. Call it a show of respect combined with a laugh. Is a sense of humour a male thing too?
Your reaction reminds me of Fred Reeds comments on the Harvard Snow Phallus incident - "A great squealing arose, as if a Victorian spinster had found a man under her bed".
You are reinforcing the stereotype of the offended feminist bigot spouting sexist bile in response to putative male wrongdoing. Of course I know you neither a sexist nor a feminist bigot, but your comments are borderline.
I suggest you post some action shots of yourself and join the party. I am told your lower dorsal area is particularly shapely :-)
Regards
Jonathan

There were a few things missing in Mermaid's and Michelle's posts.
Mermaid, while picking un us men, you neglected my first post:
Bill:
Quote:I guarantee a situation that includes sex AND affection is better, in almost all cases, then one that does not. |
Certainly you can agree a little bit that this statement is true.

Leave it to you to take natural, male response and turn it into something dirty. Unless of course you like drool, then I retract my comments and will start droolling for you on que - after you send the action pics.
all in jest

LOL! Mermaid, that was hilarious.
And I agree when you say > [Mermaid]Anyways..boys, dont hold back...carry on.
I just like to poke at it when people aren't applying filters to their animal instincts. There's nothing wrong with being animals, as long as we don't pretend otherwise, right? I mean, if we all admitted our irrational behaviors we wouldn't get so upset trying to figure out how to defend them!
Thanks for the belly chuckle! -Michelle

[Bill Roh]I guarantee a situation that includes sex AND affection is better, in almost all cases, then one that does not.
[Mermaid]I was following the progression of the thread from the forum archives. I remember that comment. I think it turned up in another thread.
[Bill Roh]Certainly you can agree a little bit that this statement is true.
[Mermaid]Well..just plain sex with no strings attached can be rocking fine too, but I do generally agree with your statement.
[Bill Roh]Leave it to you to take natural, male response and turn it into something dirty.
[Mermaid]On the contrary, I DID say that it is natural and that it IS a male thing!! Dont you remember? Whatever made you think that I was 'picking' on men! I completely accept and regard men as how they have been manufactured...naturally.
[Bill Roh]Unless of course you like drool, then I retract my comments and will start droolling for you on que - after you send the action pics.
[Mermaid]I like drool selectively.

[Jonathan Davis] This was a mixture of gentle humour and some oblique praise for Sebby. Call it a show of respect combined with a laugh. Is a sense of humour a male thing too?
[Mermaid]Which part was supposed to funny? Which part was praising DrSebby? Which part showed respect? I dont know if sense of humour is a male thing, but the ability to generate snickers seems to be a male thing. Consistently.
[Jonathan Davis]Your reaction reminds me of Fred Reeds comments on the Harvard Snow Phallus incident - "A great squealing arose, as if a Victorian spinster had found a man under her bed".
[Jonathan Davis]You are reinforcing the stereotype of the offended feminist bigot spouting sexist bile in response to putative male wrongdoing. Of course I know you neither a sexist nor a feminist bigot, but your comments are borderline.
[Mermaid]Which part? Why?
[Mermaid]I could be sexist AND/OR a feminist bigot. Do not assume.
[Jonathan Davis]I suggest you post some action shots of yourself and join the party.
[Mermaid]Why? What do I gain?
[Jonathan Davis]I am told your lower dorsal area is particularly shapely :-)
[Mermaid]I will not contradict you here. Yes, this is true. It is quite glorious and shapely.
