This also brings up the resentment-fueled issues of psychological
projection and displacement, which could explain his psychotic attacks
against my mother, whom he has never either met nor corresponded
with. Or perhaps he forsook and abandoned them in their senescence,
and cannot bear self-comparison with someone who refused to do so.
