I am the last person to come to the defense of Carl, well second to last, and I won't do so here. And Joe, you know I have stood with you through some bad times. But I take exception at the way you treat Tina.
I think it is out of line for any of us to attack each others mates for no good reason. And just because Carl likes to attack your family and mine, I certainly thought you to be above Carl is this regard. I hold you to a higher standard.
For those of you that know Tina, you know that Tina is one of the nicest, brightest, and demonstrates more Empathy then most other people on the planet. Don't let your distaste for Hermit spread beyond it's focus, Tina does not deserve it and I don't think you would mean it if you knew the woman.

Now, can't we all just sit back, act civil, and quit flaming each other? Flame wars can be amusing from time to time guys, but honestly, if you want to have some hufe arguement and insult each other, why don't you take it off the board? Why don't just keep your messages as personal messages between each other. We don't need to hear your sensless bullshit. All of your guys should be smart enough to see fighting like this solves nothing. It only re-opens old wounds and hurts the list in the end.

Everyone involved has made great contributions to the CoV, and their work is highly appreciated by many who visit. Though the recent (within the last year) happenings has lowered many peoples' opinions of you guys. Why don't we put away the flame-throwers and stop spending our time arguing and actually do something productive like coding some new program, designing a website, writing an article, or maybe even jerk off. Sure would be a lot more useful then these infantile quarrels. Its radiculous. Seriously Dees, I'm sure Hermit honestly knows that your mother isn't a drooling retard. I'm sure he didn't mean it. He just said it to get under your skin. And he did a damn good job doing it as well. And I'm sure you know that his woman isn't a five-cent-hooker as well. Churches generally make excellent customers and are usually good to deal with. Usually I do not have to deal with my Atheisism and I used to be worried about the effects it would have on my clientele, however, I have had to discuss the issue in the last 2 churches I built sound systems in. They didn't seem to care. Porn shops are good customers too. You oughta see 50" Plasma displays in a room full of mirrors and women dancing around naked. Quite a sight. Thats about as interesting as it gets.

Please read Carl's paragraph above this one in his message. And my comments about your mate were common knowledge and complimentary. In fact in that paragraph is a threat to harm my wife and family. Certainly Carl is aware that if he were correct in thinking that there was dirt here, he could use it to hurt my marriage and seperate my family. I have repeatedly said on this board and I think I am doing fairly well, that I wish to improve the situation between all of us. I have no insults for you. I defy anyone to go to google and check on my "overt hostility" in relation to Hermit since my return. I have no doubt that you will find a great shortage of the "overt hostility" you claim. And whoever does that, please add up Carl's as well so that you can count how many more times Hermit is guilty of "Overt hostility". What will I gain? I have nothing to gain or lose. I know what I have typed over the last year.
