Flash on the iPhone

Here's some quite lucid detail on the one, big, missing piece-of-the-puzzle "Flash on the iPhone" issue:
http://www.mercurious.com/wordpress/2007/08/29/iphone-and-flash/
It interest me because I recently bought the iPhone's deaf doppelganger, the iPod touch, which is basically an iPhone without the phone and its rather extortive monthly AT&T bill. As an around-the-house-wifi pocket do-it-all device, I really like it so far.
Walter
PS--BTW, when browsing the internet on the iPod touch, whenever I see a picture of GWB I can literally "pinch" the image down to nothing.
Just like I'd like to do to the real thing.

Hey Iolo. Good to hear from you.
Yeah, I'm quite aware of the "jailbreaking" techniques. I'm too lazy for that route. I'm waiting for the fruits of the Touch SDK's they'll be sending to developers next month.
I'm also aware of the fact that Apple can hit me upside the head with a "brick" too.
I guess they reserve that exclusively for their iPhone customers (and Apple Forum troublemakers).
Best to you,
Walter
BTW, I'm still extremely happy with the move to OS X, and the performance of the iMac and the mini. It just took a while for me to get used to the Nazi-like control of their official forums. I still use them for info, but I've found other, less moderated forums to vent the occasional frustrations. All-in-all, computing for me these days is FAR superior to the Windows days (although I still have a couple of Windoze machines humming away with nothing to do except automatically update all their security holes on a regular basis).
