you people get that it does? It stands alone. Forgiveness. People say
forgive AND forget for a reason - the word doesn't include forgetting.

actual memory of a certain act, its consequence and the intention behind it.
That implies forgetting about it. As far as *I* am concerned, if an
individual has a tendency to be a bastard, it only means that in all
probability, he'd do it again if he gets a chance. It's his nature. One can
either work around it or avoid it totally(and carefully). One can walk away,
remember every detail and never trust the person again, but I do not see how
one 'forgives' and doesnt forget.
