Actually, 75% of the american people, according to a poll I posted, are
in favor of US pre-emptive action against Iraq, providing the US
Congress approves a resolution supporting such action (which is in the
works and is almost certain to overwhelmingly pass), and the US
attempts to enlist UN support (whether or not that support is
forthcoming). The american people recognize that a toothless UN
protects no one and loses all credibility as a global peacekeeping body;
it is now up to them to define themselves as relevant or ir-.
And in the latest news, Saddam Hussein has pre-emptively rejected any
new UN resolutions concerning Iraq.
