Never more so than in the hands of Joe McPees. Certainly on this occasion his statement that this repartee occurred at a tea party, and that it was between Sir Winston and Queen Mary is faulty. The repartee actually occurred in Parliament between Lady Astor and Churchill. And repartee was the only tea served.
