...you know and i know that you do NOT do everything you can to better the
lives of the "starving children of earth"(tm). but why is it so hard for
you to accept your own selfishness? you do it, i do it, everyone here does
it...but for you to pretend you dont, constitutes a much more diabolical act
than simply accepting it. it's almost like the vegan that pretends to cause
no harm to the pretty little animals as they kick dirt at you with their
leather shoes etc.

I don't know if you noticed but I don't think you did. The first paragraph
is something that JoeDees wrote and the second paragraph was my response.
I am well aware that I live a much better life then many in the world.
Thanks in part to the oil mongering leaders of past who have used violence
and aggression to ensure cheap oil supplies to the U.S. which has allowed
this country to advance faster then many others.
I am also well aware that there are starving children in the world and I am
sorry that I don't think bombing another country to ensure the uninterrupted
oil supply will help feed any of those children.
I do what I can every day to ensure that in the future this imbalance of
resources will become more balanced.
Since I doubt you will read this closely enough to understand my point,
think what you will.
