Most were pretty educated and well-to-do, and most of their families just
couldn't beleve that their sons and brothers could have been involved in
something like that. Jewish plots were mentioned (IOW, the favorite
default scapegoat was invoked), some connected to Bush, others to
Gore. There was a series of articles done on various terror flyers'
personal histories, complete with family interviews, but I haven't been
able to find it.
