"And now, a little serious crackpot ranting of my own. Although in theory people are always responsible for their actions, today big politics are driven by a new kind of quasi-sentient entity called The Corporation. Corporations are supposed to be led by (disposable) human management, but they have their own survival traits, will, goals and pleasures, they do not need to breath air (only indirectly), and their dream society is the Global Free Market. The election of an intellectually lacking person such as Bush as the President of the US seems to be a preparation for some actions which could not be supported by rational arguments as far as humans are concerned."

(sorry, I haven't used the quote button yet, it scares me)

This is a really interesting topic - right now with all the corporate scandals, there really is a movement in the US to make corporations accountable by making individuals with power in the corporation accountable, which I see as a lovely opener to a world where people work for companies that they believe in and don't prostitute themselves for profits... but I'm all dreamy and idealistic and stuff. But at the very least, the trend of corporate amnesty may be finally facing reality...(?)

What interests me more is the idea that Bush is president solely for plausible deniability purposes. That's a really fabulous crackpot rant if I ever heard one! It's great! It's intrigueing and I wouldn't be surprised! It's fairly obvious that he's sort of... well, I don't want to say a puppet, because no one group is pulling the strings, but his morality is flexible and the more money involved the more flexible it seems. Please tell me more, if you have any opinions on what he's been elected to prepare for! You've totally piqued my curiousity!
