This is a very good point, and one that usually takes a while to come around to. For most people, once they find a better Way (than whatever Way they were using before), the first step is joy and the second step is anger at what we wasted our time laboring under for so long. Even ex-smokers exhibit this kind of cycle, to say nothing of the ex-religious. For most people, though, it's not a next step of _reasoning_ that leads them there, it's an expansion of humility and love.
To me, being agry at white trash america for being white trash america is like kicking a dog for barking. Ideally, it would only bark when you want it to bark, but really, it's just being a dog.
I look forward to more of this reason-based trail toward that kind of love, because there needs to be a cut & dry method that doesn't make the scientific types recoil (such as at the use of the word "love")!
