Virion Propositions:
Memetic Axioms:
1) evolution is the non random selection of randomly varying replicators.
(Dawkins)
2) the world of language, knowledge and belief in [a] human mind[s]
provides an evolutationary environment; a meme is the simplest
evolutationary unit operating in said environment.
Virion propositions:
3) God (as imagined by what you imagine most Christians believe, not the
kind of "god of spontaneous order and complex systems" that neo-Darwinists
might believe) does not exist. (David R.)
4) If truth is the goal, rationality is the way (David McF.)
5) "There is only one eternal truth (this one)." (David McF.)[1]
6) Lucifer is the "bringer of light"
Extropian carry-overs:
7) No mysteries are sacrosanct, no limits unquestionable; the unknown will
yield to the ingenious mind. (Max More)
I've tried to make these as basic as possible -- they form the core the
virian mindset. Work needs to be done on number 2.
On a different note, how many people agree with the intent of the Exropian
Principles? Could we frame something similar?
THE EXTROPIAN PRINCIPLES V. 2.6
1. Boundless Expansion: Seeking more intelligence, wisdom, and
effectiveness, an unlimited lifespan, and the removal of
political, cultural, biological, and psychological limits to
selfactualization and self-realization. Perpetually overcoming
constraints on our progress and possibilities. Expanding into the
universe and advancing without end.
2. Self-Transformation: Affirming continual moral, intellectual,
and physical self-improvement, through reason and critical
thinking, personal responsibility, and experimentation. Seeking
biological and neurological augmentation.
3. Dynamic Optimism: Fueling dynamic action with positive
expectations. Adopting a rational, action-based optimism,
shunning both blind faith and stagnant pessimism.
4. Intelligent Technology: Applying science and technology
creatively to transcend "natural" limits imposed by our
biological heritage, culture, and environment.
5. Spontaneous Order: Supporting decentralized, voluntaristic
social coordination processes. Fostering tolerance, diversity,
long-term thinking, personal responsibility, and individual liberty.

[1] This may be the least secure of the bunch (that or #7). For instance,
how about this as an eternal truth:
"All true isosemantic statements about objective reality are
non-contradictory"
Is it a tautology? If so, does that disqualify it from being an eternal
truth?
