I like it too. That doesn't make it the rule of thumb for biology, though.
It often appears to the the opposite.

What the heck is that supposed to mean?
I was just trying to point out, as many have, the difference between
how the brain works and how we see our minds working. By declaring
myself a mind fanatic, I am saying that I feel driven to explore how we
expect the mind to act. These theories are largely incorrect, and the
difference between them and reality causes many people discomfort.
In my case, I feel an itch, so I scratch it. I just wish more people would
be able to handle the disorientation with grace.
