I understand and agree with everything you are saying - however, you are
missing mine, and probably Wade's point. Someone developed the OS, and the
drivers, and all the rest of it. You can find documentation that is precise and
you can verify the functionality of the "black box". On the other hand, neither
memes, mind or brain are understood except in the most rudimentary way
(although the last 10 - 20 years have taught us a quite a bit). Basically we
are talking about a designed object not needing reverse engineering (computer),
and an evolved object which we must "discover".
