Contrariwise, my copy of Encarta 98 Encyclopedia reads:
"Egyptian pharaoh (circa 2638-2613 BC). Khufu was the
second king of the 4th Dynasty, also known as the Memphite
dynasty. The outstanding event of his reign was the construction
of the Great Pyramid at Giza, near Cairo."**
However, my CD-Encyclopedia also says:
"Many theories have been advanced to explain the purpose
of pyramids; the answer is simple: They were built to preserve
and protect the bodies of the kings for eternity."**
If this were in fact the truth, why are there air shafts
in the structure? Wouldn't those shafts admit fresh air,
and then destroy the mummy?
What do you think? Could the ice caps weigh enough to
actually shove the other plates out of the way?
According to Eurekalert.org, "The volume of the world's glaciers
outside of Antarctica and the Greenland Ice Sheet continues to
decline and the rate of ice loss continues to accelerate, according
to a new University of Colorado at Boulder study. "

Any Ideas?

The "Earth Changes Update", at:
http://www.zyz.com/survivalcenter/echange.html
makes the offer of interviewing the author of 5/5/2000, Mr. Richard Noone.
They say:
"If you know of any media who would like to interview Mr. Noone, please
e-mail us: noone@survivalcenter.com"
If we can come up with a list of questions for Mr. Noone, shall we drop him
a line?
