Your comment on 'human nature' reminded me of something I read some time
ago -- that the 4-foot-tall large-eyed ET's first sighted at Rosslyn (sp?)
and popularized by the X-Files are the equivalent of modern-day ghosts and
apparitions.
But re. Y2K wackiness, I for one will have some cash at hand, will have
paid my bills before the 31st, and will have some cans of food and candles
around. Wackiness is one thing; Murphy's Law is another.
