Thank you.

I believe I understand what has happened. My book was listed for several
months in the "Featured Book of the Week" section, but was not removed from
any other section. Here, then, is the correction I am sending:

Wade,

After correspondence with David McFadzean, I am reassured that there was no
effort to remove references to my work from memetics bibliographies in
response to my declining the invitation to join the Virus discussion list.
Rather, what happened is that after several months of listing my book as
"Featured Book of the Week," the "Virion Reading List" simply did not
transfer a listing for it to the "memetics" section of that page, because
David has not updated those sections for quite a long time. Following
Bruce's advice, I would have done well to ignore the suggestion that I was
peeved about any of David's pages, and limit myself to answering the
question of why I had not joined the Virus discussion list. Also, I should
have directed my earlier suggestions about adding serious and technical
material to Church of Virus pages to David McFadzean first, rather than
raising the subject first with Tim Rhodes on Journal of Memetics listserver.
