Yes, a child's mind is not a blank slate, it is highly formatted
and amazingly able to organize data. I've heard that the reason
you don't remember your first couple of years is that you didn't
have language to record the memories with. It takes about
two years to install your operating system. (Better stop before
I push the analogy too far...)
