Hmm...not that I am taking sides, but what about the phrase "God IS
Love".
Well then, you could say, "I *felt* God". That would make God more of a
religious feeling, a sort of 'enthusiasm', but not an omnipotent being.
Marie, help me out...what DO Christians mean by saying "God is Love"? That
would accurately fit the point you made, but at the same time it takes away
from God...being God-like.
{then again, you could also say, "I *God* my dog." =) }
