well thats what webster also says (in a few more words however). no matter
what your definition of meaning, you still have to use it in the same sense
that general public does. else your intended meaning would be wasted. aint
it a real pain when your intended meaning isnt the same as the significant
meaning to someone else?

um yes. because webster suplies signifigant meaning to more people than
bateson bohm fodor and pierce.
BTW, i was rather surprised today when i looked definition up in the
dictionary. i figured it would say "this." haha.......
