According to one definition, magick is "change in
conformity with Will". This covers not only such
as psychokinesis (sp?), but also the way my
fingers are moving right now, to type this in.
Which makes sense, when you think about it: this
is precisely the mind/body problem: how come my
willing it so makes my fingers move? Or if you
like, how does my will make impulses travel down
the nerves in my neck, sholders, arms and hands.
Or, slightly further back, how does my will
affect my brain so as to cause the appropriate
motor neurons to fire? Science as of right now
has no better answer to that, than it does to
explain how psychokinesis would work (if it did).
They're equally mysterious. They're both magick.
Except, if you don't believe psychokinesis ever
actually happens, the difference is that typing
is *real* magick.
