If I might be so bold to interject (this is my strength and my weakness)
but I do not believe that Brett was mocking you. The people on this list
have very strong opinions that are oft opposed. Unfortunately, even those
who pride themselves on being open to others can sometimes be cruel. I
think that Brett was referring to this general trend rather than to your
own person.
