What is the purpose of the CoV? I think it would be great ( in theory )
to purposefully engineer a church which, although entirely honest about
its deception of its subscribers, managed to accrue them and money to
boot. There was one ... Church of Bob? Something like that. But then
to push it so far that it gained media attention, and got in trouble for
it. Bad media for the creators, but a point made by precedent: By
taking the thing so far you're exposing the evils of the moderate
versions of the same thing.
I guess the televangelists do something similar, but not explicitly
intentionally.
Just a thought.
