Ah ha.
Rereading things twice is sometimes important. I got lost in your
patterns stuff.
Who else indeed....
Well, me, for one. I have been clamoring for this for some time.
However, we are far from alone here. My (apparently ignored) appeals have
been echoed in the Journal of Memetics, constantly. There are any number
of people, who like me, and obviously you, feel that memetics needs a
hard attack, and a clinical thrust, rather than be the plaything of
granola gurus and newage crap artists.. This is kind of the scope of
cognitive studies in neuroscience, and there are massive inroads being
developed through the use of functional MRI (real-time viewing of mental
activity.) It is a very exciting area, and one where truly the meme may
be found.
