Even I got fooled, when I wrote in my previous post about a Guru being
attacked by David. When I now think of it, it was Richard who was attacking
David and naively ridiculing whatever David said and let the crowd beat David.
A gang leader brings a good-looking strong fellow to the gang, provokes him
to fight, the whole gang beats the new guy up, and the leader grows
stronger. The new guy can stay ("o, please don't leave us") as long as he
obeys the leader. Or leave... It works!
Isn't memetics exciting?!
