I'm applying geographical terminology to worldviews/mental frameworks.
In my case, I seem to use four major frameworks currently, and shift
according to whichever one is doing the best job at what I'm looking at
this instant. I'm going for inductive definition, and trust that you
have more mental prowess than all supercomputers ever constructed combined:
In no particular order:
* Western science [subsumes weird psychology and biology that
exists only in research abstracts, I need to use those as well]
* Mathematics [it is surprising how much of the 'real world' can be
translated into mathematics. It's a foreign language, however.]
* "Taoist frame": Most direct anchor into the biofeedback methods;
there's nothing like researching biochemistry when trying to figure out
how to apply biofeedback, however. This also provides the most effective
way to deal with nonconsensual sensory data without responding physically.
My (mis)practice of Tai Chi, Yoga, and Iron Shirt Chi Kung ties into this
frame best.
* "Conservative Doctrine, radical liberal culture Christian": seeing how
many Christians have been killed as atheists or apostates over the years,
I feel in-place on this list. This provides the most coherent way of
*interpreting* the nonconsensual sensory data. And other quirks like why
unknowingly breaking the 10 Commandments gets me savaged....
It is "obvious" that these four worldviews are not 100% compatible; as
far as I know, each of them covers holes in all of the others. I won't
claim all of the holes are covered [Not even deiforming into a god would
achieve that....]
