Nor can you prove that you have one. Of course, asking me to prove that
you don't beggars the question of whether or not one can logically prove
a negative.

Oh, free will isn't necessary to me feeling a need to survive; as long
as "I"'m surprised by the next thing down the pike its OK. Note that a
lack of free will doesn't mean predestination in the least; Brownian
Motion is completely without free-will, each particle is constrained to
react in X way to Y variables. It is, however, always surprising to
watch the jinking and swirling of Brownianly moving particles, at least
to me.

Mind you, I'm not trying to dissuade you from killing yourself. I
encourage everyone to do so at least once in their lives.

[Anyone that commits suicide simply based on the weight of my suggestion
probably doesn't deserve to continue to live and reproduce (perhaps
especially the latter) in the first place; I'm now an agent of the
Selection Police.]
