One thing I'd like to do with either the tarot or magic version of the
game is build structures from cards that grow more complex and can change
radically with the addition of new cards.
For example I might place 'the self' on the table and then modify it by
placing 'fear', 'meta' and a card that indicates that the pattern should
be seen as a spiral (cyclical and cumulative).

Has anyone player Illuminati: New World Order? Each card has arrows on
at least one of it's borders. The arrows can point in or out. Each
player has a power base card, their illuminati, which has four
outward-pointing arrows. Cards must be arranged such that they meet only
where an outward facing arrow on one cards is adjacent to an inward
facing arrow on another card.

Cards like The Avatar and The Self would have four radiating arrows,
while other cards that denote relationships between things would have
some inward facing arrows instead of or in addition to outward arrows.
Many cards should have just one inward facing arrow and no outward facing
ones. This will constrain the growth of the card structure on the table.

Take care. -KMO
