Just a skewed perspective on the Absolute Truth thread...
In the psychiatrist R.D.Laing's famous "The Divided Self"
there is the following passage, concerning a patient at
a mental clinic:

: A patient in a lie detector was asked if he was Napoleon.
: "No," he replied.
: The lie detector recorded that he was lying.

(I don't have the book at hand so I can't reference
the page; but the quote is verbatim.)
