I read an article in tonight's paper about this opera that is going up
in NY,NY. "The Brain Opera" Is a new "John Cage-like" piece utilizing
interactive multimedia in several locations and a link to an internet
page where visitors to the real world and e-world sites play with
electronic instrumenta and participate in the climactic finale of the
opera.

The composer, Tod Machover, describes the opera as a theory about
intelligence; thast it stems from diversity arising from the interaction
of independent agents in the brain. It explores intelligence and its
link to creativity.

There is a website- http://brainop.media.mit.edu

I haven't gone there yet- I'm on my way now.

Oh, Yeah. It opens July 23 at the Lincoln Center.

BTW If any question marks were floating above your heads re: my last
post. I quoted the 900 number post- but not before having a little fun
with it first. ;)
