virus: low tradition: ritual proposal

Here's the idea for a Virus ritual I've been alluding to for some time.
Is was actually during one of these rituals that I realized that I
had been practicing this ritual for years without recognizing it. I've
tried to incorporate a great deal of flexibility for wider appeal. Try it
out and let me know what you think...

Music Trance Ritual

Simply arrange an experience where music dominates the perceptual
environment for a duration of 20 minutes or more. Choose whatever
kind of music you want, but if it isn't enjoyable LOUD try
something else. This ritual works equally well alone (sitting
in front of the subwoofer) or in groups (concert hall or mosh pit).

The aspect that makes this act a Virian ritual is that even while
one part of you enjoys the music, another part should analyze the
experience. Think about what it is about this music that appeals to
you and why. What was the composer/performer trying to communicate?
Is the music influencing your thoughts and behaviour? In what way?
