When I first wrote this, I included the phrase 'granfalloon of fools' and, once on the screen, came to second thoughts, and, after webstering for a spell, figured I got the word wrong, and substituted 'flock'- a certainly less glorious word, if not unuseful....
'Granfalloon', as I've since rediscovered it, is a far more satisfying word to use for all the adherents and clients of charlatans- it is a word coined by none other than Kurt Vonnegut- mirabile dictu and thread incarnate....
