I agree, because I keep thinking of people who don't consider themselves homosexuals, but have relations with the same sex. I can't help but think of people who for the most part are heterosexual and mostly are attracted to the opposite sex, but for some reason occasionally act 'gay' and pursue relations with the same sex.
If you're going to support the 'homosexuality is genetic' stance, I suppose you could use this example in your favor (because the persons are outwardly 'straight'), however this also shows that eliminating social taboos would NOT eradicate homosexuality, because these kind of 'pseudo-homo' people are already in stable heterosexual relationships and bearing children. And I wouldn't just write it off as a "kink", because although these people for the most part are hetero- and are content with their hetero- partner, if they are forbidden to satisfy their 'gay side', then they are very unhappy.
