While calendars in general are pretty much useless, in the sense that the world has one, for all intents and purposes a common one, and the few vagrants, like the judaic and the bahai, are secondaries even the adherents to which couldn't use to book a ticket anywhere... I do like the idea of starting _something_ from the day (or the ceremonial eventday) of the burning of the Library- the single most devatating memetic event in the history of the known universe.
