Pat Condell's UK political endorsement

Somehow Pat Condell's video "Vote small, think big" got taken down at least temporarily due to a fraudulent copyright infringement claim. I'm not really sure how, but then YouTube doesn't seem to need much more than the accusation to play the role of jack-booted censorship thugs. In any case, I thought I would put a link here to Pat's latest response to the criticism he's received over his UKIP endorsement. He does go to some length to explain exactly which issues he's voting on and which issues of the UKIP he's not endorsing.
It sounds like a rational choice for one election anyways, and on priniciples I agree with. There the problem may be the political Islamists and here it may be the religious right, but the underlying principles of the fight seem the same to me, and on that count I completely agree with Pat's thinking on this. I seem to have confused some of my American brothers and sisters on this one, but separation of church and state are quite fundamental to me, and outside of my own cultural place and time this is at least one example of how that struggle plays out and which side you can expect me to take. Sadly the EU has taken a pathetic stance of appeasement on the issue of political Islam which I would find completely unacceptable in my own country.
My original message on "Vote small, think big": Not being from the UK I don't really have a direct or involved opinion on this, but Pat Condell gave such an impassioned and yet reasonable sounding message with a sense of vision about it as well. And a message about democracy, one of my favorite subjects. You go, Pat!
here is a direct link to Pat's web page where you can easily get his "Vote small, think big" without the YouTube big brother censorship. http://godlesscomedy.blip.tv/

ps. to be fair to Pat, although he formally endorsed the UKIP himself, his endorsement was more specifically for any independent or "non-major-party" candidate the voter prefers over the three major brands which have all already signed on to the EU program. Hence his "vote small and think big" slogan which I'd have been proud to say first myself even though he beats us to it. Given that context, I think his political message is very timely and appropriate.

. . . well it seems that youtube finally figured out what idiots they were acting like and decided to reinstate Pat Condell's original video. You can still link to it directly on his home page above or you can once again find it on youtube at least until they have another politically correct censorship fit which are making them look increasingly like a corporation governed by idiots rather than the "don't be evil" google crowd who once upon a time prevailed over them. Once upon a time, the market forces got it right. Now we'll just have to beat the crap outta them for reminders sake ;)
