Greetings.
I have similar feelings about the whole matter as Jonathan but felt that I
neither had sufficient knowledge about it (I remembered Joe from when I
attended the list two years ago (actually felt some sympathy for him), until
he started flooding the list in the oft-cited copy & paste-manner) nor the
confidence to post that opinion without the knowledge (or the eloquence) to
back it up.
I believe, too, that censorship is no solution, but then again: if a person
does not stick to certain conventions, and spamming is one behaviour
conventionally condemned, how to regulate this? One possibility - as they do
on jesus.de (ähem), is to introduce certain contingents of posts/limit the
length of posts so one has to link to another page o.ä.
But I am sure you have thought about the possibilities at hand - all I
wanted to say is, I agree to Jonathan.
