Of course the US has links and involvement in virtually every place on
earth. But that does not make it responsible for everything that happens in
those places.
As for Haiti - I blame the Haitians. Blaming France or the United States for
Haiti's woes removes the responsibility from the real villains: Haitian
thugs of every stripe and the partisan mobs who support them.
People get the governments they deserve.
