Virus Vacation?

Cans omeone give me an update on when this is supposed to be? Who is all coming, that type of thing? My girlfriend and I have made plans with our familys to move out to Vegas next year, and we decided to take a small vacation there this year, and I'd really like to go when you all are.

Hey there, Elven. The last I checked, we had decided to meet in June in
Las Vegas. I don't think we have picked an exact day. I have more or less
committed myself to making it there somehow, however I can. My funds are
gonna be tighter than usual so I was hoping to find out sooner rather than
later the actual date, that way I can figure out the pauper's rate to get
there.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueler?

Yeah I need to know very soon what the date(s) are going to be so I can plan it around work, and plan it with my woman's family.

The later the better for Tywick and I, as we are getting back from a long european trip the weekend of June 11th/12th. So the end of June or a bit later would be nice. I would be hard to travel right away, but since I do have off Fridays and Saturdays, I could probably sneak in a long weekend the end of June as long as I knew the date in advance (in order to take an extra day or two off of work). Tywick is more flexible, however he doesn't get paid vacation days like I do.

So like the 26th? That'd might actually be better for me as well, and then maybe Mermaid might be able to come along too. We should most definately get this planned as soon as possible though. It's coming up on us quick.

Elven,
I'm pretty sure I could manage the weekend of the 25th-27th of June as for my schedule, however the main issue for us (me and Tywick) is having enough money for another trip after a rather long one. I'll request off that Sunday right away, and I'm pretty certain I'll get it, but still need to wait and see what the future holds financially. If I had an approximate total cost of the trip, I would be easier to plan ahead. So will you or someone else volunteer to look into cheap flights and accomodations for the weekend?
And will Mermaid be back in the US by then?
Who else is planning on going?
And David: Do you think we ought to have a separate sub-forum for Virian meetings/trips/parties/etc? Please? There seems to be a lot of travel plans coming up lately. I'd be nice to keep the threads organized.

I plan to attend if possible. It has been unfortunate that I have not been
able to be involved in the CoV this last year. It sounds like a lot of fun.
I have some research to do and then I plan on sharing some of my ideas over
the next couple months. I have been reading most posts/emails over the
course of my departure from civility. I believe I will really enjoy
participation in the CoV as a group and I believe I will also enjoy the
friendship of it's members.
