How much overlap is there between the Universist movement and the CoV? Universism doesn't mention memetics, but a key similarity is that both are attempts to create a secular religion. Another attempt to do that (although they may dispute applying the term "religion," this is merely a semantic difference) is the Fellowship of Reason in Atlanta, Georgia. www.fellowshipofreason.org.
I think that, although there is no reason or need to all join under the same organization, it would be profitable for all these movements to work together. There are more of us out there than we suppose.
